URBAN DIALOG

URBAN DIALOG strives for reviving lost qualities in an academic but practice-relevant discourse: presented papers reflect the author's own original research or life urban projects - rather than a collection of ruminated literature quotations, which many young colleagues mistake for scientific quality. The discussion of the papers is not limited to a 10-minute Q&A duty, but is initiated by remarks of a discussant and followed by an open-ended online conversation between a limited number of participants. The original (or revised) papers, accompanied by a summary of the discussion, will be published in online and print-on-demand format on a yearly basis. 

 Some 20 years ago, even scientific progressive journals were produced with a focus on the addressed audience, and the editors discussed the contents with the authors before publication. Nowadays, scientific journals primarily serve the interests of the authors, who feel obliged
